Come for one part of the morning or stay for all of it.
Weekly Prayer
Praying together for local, state, national, and international needs and concerns.
Welcome Home
We gather to worship our risen Savior and celebrate what God is doing in our lives throughout the week. Whether church has always been part of your life, it has been a long time, or this is all brand new, you are welcome here.
Our desire is to be a place where people encounter the grace of Jesus, grow together in faith, care for one another, and carry His hope into Harney County and beyond.
New Here?
You do not need to know all the words, have everything figured out, or dress a certain way before you walk through the door.
Come as you are, find a seat, meet a few people, and worship with us. We would be glad to have you.
Prayer begins at 8:30 AM, Sunday School at 9:15 AM, fellowship at 10:00 AM, and worship at 10:30 AM.
We are located at 311 Roe Davis Avenue in Hines, Oregon.
Someone will be glad to help you find your way, answer questions, or simply let you settle in.

What We Believe
Harney County Church of the Nazarene is part of the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition of the Church of the Nazarene.
Jesus is the Son of God who died in our place, on the cross, for our sins. The Bible is the Word of God to mankind. Inspired by God it is good for encouragement and correction in all areas of life.
In connection with Jesus, our lives are being transformed. He is renewing us from the inside out so that our lives are more than just a long list of apologies for sin, but a testimony of His grace!
We are commissioned to take the Good News of Christ to the world around us - locally and globally. We share Christ out of joy for what He has done for us, with love and respect for those around us.
Meet Our Pastors
Our pastoral team serves through worship, discipleship, outreach, congregational care, and community ministry.
Brian, our lead pastor, graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and was a school teacher for 20 years before God called him into full time pastoral ministry. While he was teaching, he and Bettina were married on June 2, 1990. He completed his Certificate of Ministry Preparation through MVNU and was ordained August 4, 2010. Brian previously pastored in Wisconsin and Nebraska and began his pastoral service at Harney County in February of 2012. Brian is the Intermountain District Men's Retreat Director and serves on the Intermountain SDMI council. Brian also serves as a Harney County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate).
Bettina became the pastor of Outreach and Discipleship in January of 2014. She is also a graduate of MVNU where she completed the Certificate of Ministry Preparation; she was ordained at the 2018 District Assembly. Bettina is the Ladies Retreat Director for the Intermountain District, serves on the SDMI council and is vice-president of the Intermountain NMI council. She also serves locally as president of Harney County Partners and is a board member of Crossroads Ranch ministries.
Bettina likes to read, watch Christmas movies, host people in her home and drink coffee any time of the day.
